I love birthdays! I also know I have enough. One of my favorite things to say is, “Whenever I’m down, I count how many steps it takes for me to get to a glass of clean water. Then I realize I’m one of the luckiest people n the world.”
September is a big month for Charity:Water (it turns 6 this month!), and since it’s also my birthday month and is a cause near and dear to me, I’m asking folks to make a donation to Charity:Water in Bellesouth’s 35th birthday for 53 peoplecampaign.
It’s simple. If I can raise $3500, 53 people in Rwanda will have access to clean
water. This will help communities become self-sufficient, improve the health of children, and end the horrible crimes against women who are forced to walk miles upon miles to get to water that isn’t even clean.
Here’s a video about what Charity:Water is doing this September:
Where do you come in? I want you to wish me a happy birthday, help spread the word about the campaign, donate if you feel compelled to do so, and get a chance at winning a $25 gift card to Macy’s for your help.
This giveaway is not sponsored by Macy’s, Charity:Water, or anyone else. You are also not obligated to make any donation, or even to promote this charity to enter. I’m doing this because it’s important to me and our world.
To enter, simply follow the instructions in the Rafflecopter giveaway form. In advance, Thank you and good luck.
