Hello, fellow Arkies! Excellent news for those of you waiting ’til the tax holiday! I just got off the phone with a representative at the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration. I asked about the upcoming sales tax holiday for select items that will be from 12:01 a.m. Saturday, August 6 and will end at 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, and she gave me some great news.
If you are worried about crowds and lines in the stores, here is some relief: Online purchases are included!!! So you can shop anywhere online and as long as the shipping address is in the state of Arkansas, you will be exempt from sales tax.
