As a petsitter and housesitter, I see a lot of pieces of furniture in northwest Arkansas. One of my favorites is a beautiful sofa that is sometimes occupied by my fur-friends Trixie and Emily. It’s a beautiful, brown sofa that their dad purchased at Brashears Furniture in Springdale a few years ago.
What I love about the Brashears catalog is that the furniture pieces are simple, clean and classic. Since style changes over time, you want pieces that can change with you and change with trends. Why purchase a sofa with a defined print on it when you can purchase one in a neutral color? You can take that sofa and regularly change out pillows, blankets and other practical and comfortable accouterments to go with it. Right now, Emily and Trixie are in the midst of a massive living room renovation, and this sofa is going to remain a staple when all the work is done.
With showrooms in Branson, Mo.; Springdale, Ark.; and Berryville, Ark., Brashears has plenty of furniture to choose from – and they are all pieces that naturally blend in with whatever design scheme you’re going with.
I was a child of the eighties – when printed couches were all the rage. Today, when you see those same pieces of furniture in houses and thrift stores, you can tell their style has definitely worn out. You can still see printed furniture in some boutique furniture places, but it’s best to have something clean and neat. Furniture is a major investment that should last you several years. Don’t let your furniture become outdated!
To help you with building a comfortable home, Brashears offers design consultation services and sells a wide number of furniture brands – including La-Z-Boy, Biltmore, and American Craftsman.
