I was given product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
I have but one rule: You can never have too many mobile devices. I have a Kindle, a Kindle Fire, a Nook, two Samsung Galaxy phones without SIM cards and a brand new LG G3. My devices are my connection to the world. They help me work, read, listen to music, navigate, watch movies, play Facebook games, monitor my calories and exercise. They also serve as external storage space. Any of them could malfunction at any time, so they also serve as backup for each other.
So as you can see, I am a gadget junkie. As a result, I frequently wear out my batteries while I’m out. And that’s why I have but ONE rule: You can never have too many mobile device chargers. So I got the Coosh CPB-152A Mobile Power Charger to try out and review. It’s a great product, and it charges my devices quickly.
The Coosh CPB-152A is just slightly thicker than a standard smartphone. It can easily fit into your pocket or your bag. It has dual USB ports, which I LOVE because I have but one rule: You can never have too many USB ports. The charger also has LED indicator lights that tell you how much power is left in the charger’s internal battery. I love that there are four lights, because it’s an excellent way to gage exactly how much power you have left. Plug in the CPB-152A overnight and you will have full power in the morning.
It also packs a punch when it comes to powering your device. It runs on a standard Li-On battery. It’s high capacity with 13,000 milli amp hours. I can usually fully charge a couple of devices in about an hour, no matter how old they are. The charger doesn’t overheat, and when it’s done charging your devices, it automatically shuts off. So you’re saving power for your charger and your devices here. It also has an on and off switch so you can start or stop charging.
However, there was one problem: The micro-USB cord that came with the CPB-152A stopped working after a couple of days. However, this is a common issue with micro-USB cords, and that’s why I have ONE rule: You can never have too many micro-USB cords. They are really cheap online and are great to keep in a utility drawer in case one goes out. I just used a couple of my other micro-USB cords and it worked fine.
I checked out coosh’s website, and it seems they are no longer promoting this product, but instead a newer generation called the CPB-152B. The newer one looks the same, and I am sure it’s been tweaked to be even better than this one is.
Great product, definitely worth it!
