Do you remember the field trips you went on as a kid? I took a lot – to a cotton farm, to the local museum, to the State Capitol, and even to the NASA George C. Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala. I can’t remember a field trip in which I didn’t learn something new and have an experience I’d carry with me for a lifetime.
Lunchables Lunch Combinations wants to give away awesome field trips to 50 deserving classrooms across the country through their exciting program, Field Trips For All.
“Field Trips For All” is the first effort from the Lunchables Team’s new initiative called Project Potential. Aimed at empowering kids with opportunities to help them reach their full potential, Project Potential will provide enriching experiences kids might otherwise not have.

As a travel enthusiast and the little sister of a teacher who has taken his kids across the country and overseas, I know how enriching and wonderful these trips can be. Field trips can inspire kids to go beyond the walls of their classroom or their bedroom, get an education and benefit their families and communities.
According to a 2009 report from The American Association of School Administrators, it’s estimated that over the course of the current school year, the number of school districts eliminating field trips will increase by 56 percent. That’s more than 30,000 schools – and it’s frightening.
You or your child can help a deserving classroom get this opportunity. Anyone 6 years of age or older can nominate a classroom by going to http://www.lunchables.com/potential/ and submitting a nomination. 50 classrooms will be selected to go on an inspiring, educational experience.
