Reasons Why Tomato Plant Leaves Turn Yellow

image

How’s your green thumb doing? Mine is slowly turning from charcoal into something brighter.

I am especially proud of our cherry tomato plants, which were planted three weeks ago and now have 19 little green maters growing! But I have been concerned about the yellowing of some of the leaves.

Fortunately, I found a great post about the reasons for the yellowing. As it turns out, I’m fine because the leaves are at the bottom of the plant and just aren’t getting that much sun. Whew!

But if your leaves are yellow in other places, it might be a symptom of something bigger – from lack of water to infestation. Check this article for more info:

The last time I tried to grow tomatoes they were murdered by evil hornworms. Hopefully that won’t happen this year!
