Review: Day by Day Beauty Luxury Blotting Papers

I was given product in exchange for an honest review.

Our bathrooms are outfitted with Hollywood Strip lights. They’re bright, make it extremely easy for vision-impared folks like me to apply makeup, and, unfortunately, they induce sweat. Sweaty foreheads, sweaty hair, sweaty cheeks… it has made my makeup applications for the past six years extremely trying, because after I get all dolled up, I have to get out the mineral foundation one more, two more, three more times and I almost end up looking like a carrot cake with eyes before I settle and decide to step away.

So these Day by Day Beauty Luxury Blotting Papers do come in handy. I take a minimalist approach to makeup – mostly powders, and the only cream I use is eyeshadow primer. This absolutely helps that work by removing the oil I’ve collected not only after I’ve applied my makeup, but throughout the evening.

The papers are extremely simple, and they easily fit into your purse or in your bathroom drawer, so they’re very easy to add to your beauty routine. I cannot stress how much I love the idea that instead of adding MORE powder and risking clogging my pores, these handy papers soak up the oil, leaving your face cleaner, not more covered up.

It’s important to shine! In your smile, in your appearance, in your attitude. But certainly not on your face, where oil can be trapped, and we know how that always turns out. These blotting papers work.

You can purchase Day by Day Beauty Luxury Blotting Papers at Amazon for $8.97. That gives you 200 blotting sheets – an excellent price!

It seems like once you get past your teens it would be nice to no longer have to deal with things like acne and oily skin, but alas that is not the reality! I sometimes find myself mid-day with so much oil on my face, it is embarrassing. I don’t know about you but when I learned to do my makeup in middle school (not going to say how long ago that was…) I distinctly remember being handed a piece of Kleenex and told to blot my lipstick! Wish I’d had these back then.

I have seen this brand but never have tried it as of yet–The blotting paper I use now is good but I’m thinking that this maybe much better. So off to shopping on one of my favorite site-Amazon
