Review: Gurin High Accuracy Digital Bathroom Scale

I received product for this review. All opinions are my own.

1a7d88efbb6616a5a8caee4054508645bfe9579cI was excited to replace my 13-year-old digital bathroom scale with the Gurin High Accuracy Digital Bathroom Scale. My old scale was pretty solid. It measured my weight and my BMI. But I cannot tell you how many times I hurt my big toe by having to kick the scale button to get on the dang thing. Not to mention having to wait until you stood on the scale, lest you get an error reading. The Gurin High Accuracy Digital Bathroom Scale avoids all those annoyances. It’s easy: Step on the scale, it gives you your weight.

The best thing is that the display is an extremely bright LED screen that will show up even in the dark. The display is also large, so even if your glasses prescription is a bit off, you can be sure to see your weight. I also love that it’s extremely lightweight and has a modern-yet-classic design.

Oh! The scale also comes with a flexible measuring tape, so in addition to measuring your weight loss progress, you can also measure your progress in inch loss. This was a nice addition. I am pretty sure the only measuring tape I’ve ever had has been in my mother’s sewing kit for as long as I can remember! So this was a nice surprise in addition to the scale!

I will note that this scale is not extremely advanced. It does not calculate BMI or record your progress. But if you want a basic scale that will tell you your weight when you step on it, This is the one.

The Gurin High-Accuracy Digital Bathroom Scale is currently available for $23.50 on Amazon. Definitely a good buy for a great, stylish and basic scale.

This is a very reasonable price for an accurate digital scale. I think this would be great for a lot of people, though maybe not for me because when I’m trying to lose weight, I weigh myself too often when the scale shows fractions of pounds.

Interesting, I wonder about these. I have seen them, but wasm’t sure how this really worked. Thanks for the info!

This is great, I’ve been looking for a good scale for a long time but have been unable to find one. Every place I’ve looked has had some but they were either cheaply made or outrageously expensive, there was nothing in the middle of good quality. Thanks for sharing!

Don’t you hate that? You stand there waiting for the 000 to go away and be replaced with your weight… you think it has been long enough and you look down and it gives you an error message because you moved before it finished….

I like that it has a bright display, the one I currently have is really hard to see when it is semi dark in my room so a brighter display is a positive for me.

This is a really good price. Some scales that have similar features are much more expensive. I like the look of this scale too.

What a great price for a totally decent looking scale. I’ve been using a wildly inaccurate 20lb decades old metal scale for years.. it’s probably about time I bit the bullet and replaced it! I will definitely look into this one!
