Saturday night was Razorback football night, and while watching the Hogs defeat the ever-lovin’ tar out of Auburn, I had this week’s Bellesouth Guy-Food Correspondent, Richard, try out one of T.G.I. FRiDAY’S “Entrées for One” entrees.
I chose the Cajun-Style Chicken Alfredo for two reasons: 1) It said “Cajun” and 2) The packaging said the meal cooked right in the bag! So if you don’t feel like doing dishes, you can just cook it in the bag, put on a pair of gloves, grab a fork and chow down.
Ever the gentleman, Richard opted to serve it on a paper plate. And you know what – he loved it!
He said it had great flavor, was reasonably spicy – although he did say he’d prefer a bit more spice. The package recommends adding a tablespoon of your favorite hot sauce to it to add extra kick. Accompanied the beer well, and the Razorbacks winning made it all that more awesome.
A couple of weeks ago I announced T.G.I. FRiDAY’s Fun Freezer contest in which people decorated their fridges in the ultimate quest to win a house party and a bunch of food from FRiDAY’s.
Voting has begun, so now’s the time to get your vote in for the most fun freezer. If your freezer’s in the running, it’s time to get all your friends to vote for your fridge so you can all have a sweet party. Good luck!
