Apparently visitors to Vegas are sharing a bit too much about their trips. The tweets, the Facebook status updates, the Foursquare checkins, the photos! Apparently people have forgotten what “What Happens Here, Stays Here” means, and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority is taking action!
They want you to promise to them that you will NOT tweet, share, tag, post, whisper or telepathically communicate your crazy nights on the strip with anyone else!
Your silence will be rewarded! Simply click on over to Know The Code , read the oath and sign it. If you promise you’ll keep your trap shut, you’ll be entered to win a trip for 2 to Vegas! Trip includes airfare, lodging and more!
Stick around on Know The Code for tips on itineraries, as well as info on events and places that are totally safe to share with outsiders.
The contest ends April 30, 2012, so you have plenty of time to practice your secret-keeping skills. In the meantime you can name and shame your pals for “oversharing” after their trips.
Good luck! And stop it with the TMI!!!!
I was given the opportunity to write about this contest from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority through American Pop Digital. Opinions are 100% mine.
