Belle South Blogs is a lifestyle blog about the everyday pleasures of the American South: the porch at dusk, the table on a Sunday, the garden after a summer storm and the road between the coast and the mountains.

How we write
Every guide is written to be useful: practical steps, honest advice and no filler. When we state a fact, we link to a reliable source such as a cooperative extension service, a museum or an official visitor site. Recipes are written for home cooks, and food safety guidance follows the USDA. When we use photographs we did not take, they are openly licensed and credited on the page.
